Programs & Events
The purpose of the Park is to provide a quality and safe venue for the general public. Organized events and programs will be subject to a fee for usage of the Park set by the Board of Directors. Spontaneous use by individuals for general day use will not be subject to fees except for reservations. Organized events or programs will be defined as those that involve team/competitive sports, organized events or involve a gathering of >10 persons. A nominal fee in addition to standard usage fees will be assessed to account for maintenance reimbursement into the Operating Fund.
The Park may also charge a per participant fee for camps, clinics, and tournaments (per team). This gives program operators as well as the Park an incentive to cross promote each other. The Park role will be to provide a quality and affordable facility for the program and event operators to utilize.
Any formal program, league, sports activities, or event particularly where a fee is charged by the operator, will require liability insurance up to $1 million with the Providence Park Foundation named as additionally insured.
